October 30, 2016 - Had earthy aromas of leather, beef blood, raspberries, iron, minerals and plums. This was very young tasting on the strapping, fresh and almost outstandingly concentrated palate. Ended longish powerful and with the usual acidic uplift at the end. Needed 3 hours + aeration. Can be drunk with pleasure with carnivore food over the next 4-5 years.

March 4, 2006 - Solid wine and one of my favorites from the region for the price. Earthy, leafy, well balanced with nice bramble notes and rustic fruits.
