  December 18, 2020 - Got a glass here now and there’s oak on the nose along with green notes (pyrazines) like a jar of olives. It’s got some age and not the approachable fruit bomb like the younger Lewis Merlots. The palate is full of dark black cherries, cola, hint of vanilla, and a solid oak tannin on the back end. This wine needs time to open and has developed the complexity of a right bank Bordeaux. The wine has deep dark character and not a hint of being light or thin. In my opinion this wine is delicious

  January 28, 2019 - Still luxurious at 18 yrs old.
  Softening but lush and velvety fruit.

  November 24, 2018 - I really enjoyed this. Quite fresh with lots of bright berry fruit and a hint of capsicum that I find in merlot sometimes. Not overdone but not much complexity either. Very good with Thanksgiving dinner.
