November 19, 2022 - So fresh - when you smell it you are just thinking about new cut grass. Tannins and aciidty are both medum - , amd the wine has a very nice balance. The fruit is strawberries and raspberries - we are also getting forrest floor - the wine has a clear sweetness that get you to think about brambles - we like the wine - it is realy a crowd pleaser - we will give 93.

July 3, 2021 - Brief note. Under screwcap. Black fruited and concentrated with similar descriptors to those in my 2019 TN. Showing some forest floor development. In balance and proportion. There for optimal drinking over the next few years. Classy, quality NZ pinot from a top vintage for Felton Road.

June 27, 2021 - Very, very good. A step up from the ‘12 Calvert a week or two back. More intensity from the fruit, rounder, more powerful and with perfect balance. The tannins are super fine, chamois-like. Really liking the darker, brooding edge about it. No rush on the rest.

June 6, 2021 - Blind, medium ruby with slight bricking on the rim, very aromatic, very ripe and very long finish. Nose mostly compromised of cherries and black pepper. An incredible pinot whatever this is and with a decade of life ahead of it.

December 28, 2020 - Something special and best Pinot of my life (yes big call). OMG this had everything. On the powerful end of the spectrum for Pinot which likely suited me. Cherries, blackberries even a little plum. Spices and roses. Everything in perfect balance. Lovely fruit upfront but seamless dry finish. Every guest was quickly wanting more. Very special.
