May 19, 2022 - Dark ruby in colour - arguably a bit of a baby, but what a baby. Ports don’t have to be drunk as they stagger on their last legs of fruit. A pronounced nose. Obviously complex. Floral, leather, vanilla, dark plum, jam, menthol smoke and black fruit gums. Pronounced on the palate too of course. Full body, lovely balance. Low acidity. Med(+) tannin and fabulous length. Drinking really well.

May 16, 2022 - Served from half bottle by a friend to accompany hard cheeses. Very dark garnet, almost black. Very gluggable and appearing fresh and ready to drink. Probably would keep longer, but I don't think it will improve.

March 12, 2015 - Feels softer than '08 LBV, may be closed? LBV was better today.
