  May 1, 2019 - BBQ at our house. Bottle and cork were in perfect condition. The wine was medium ruby in colour and offered sweet red fruit, strawberry, mushroom, coffee, spices, vanilla and clove on the nose and palate, with nice old-age sweetness, lively acidity, mostly resolved tannin and very good length. The reasonably smooth and balanced wine drank well, and still seemed to have some upside potential. No need to hurry, it still has a long life ahead.

  July 9, 2018 - Surprisingly consistent with previous note made eight years ago. Still alive and kicking. Well integrated oak. Excellent!

  October 16, 2015 - Open and drinkable but the strongest vintage, pales in comparison with -81, -82 and -94 consumed in the same tasting.

  March 24, 2014 - Consistent with previous bottles. Very impressive trad Rioja.
  From initial aroma to lingering aftertaste this really delivers.
  Not fading either, I hope to keep my hands off the few remaining bottles
