April 17, 2017 - Popped and poured. Extremely annoying wax capsule. Fragrant floral aroma with black fruit underneath. Mellow flavors of berry fruit and earth. Some tartness in the raspberry finish. Subtle, well integrated, excellent structure, some complexity. Gentle, but with a very firm backbone.
Current CT drinking window shows 14-16, but there's possibly room for further development and definitely no sign of decline. -

January 10, 2016 - Very interesting wine - Almost seemed like Cab Franc out of the bottle until the tannins started to develop with air. Very much a natural style - unfocused and wily but in a good and fun-to-drink way. nice fruit - some secondary earthiness/mushroom but my guess is that more will surface with time? Fun.
