February 13, 2019 - Enjoyed this (first bottle of 4 purchased) at my fave neighborhood French Cafe, and it went well with the rich French Onion soup and Cassoulet. Showing a bit of breakdown in the color (very slight cloudyness), but still popping with aromas of bell pepper, fresh soil, rose, and very black cherry. Great lingering finish. I look forward to the rest of these in the next 3 years or so.

March 30, 2017 - We enjoyed the 2011 Cab Franc with fluer de sel caramels. The pairing of the salty caramel with the earthy tones of the wine are a match made in heaven. The wine itself has wonderful notes of dark blackberry and toasted praline- a perfect match for the salted caramels.
