July 19, 2017 - Part of a Barolo tasting with my wine group, opened, but not decanted for at least 45 minutes before pouring. Since this is sometimes called a "baby Barolo" I put it in this tasting. I've gone back and forth on this wine. Last night I really enjoyed it. The A/C in the restaurant was having trouble keeping up with the NYC heat and humidity and this was a very refreshing wine. Light, acidic and a medium short finish.

May 27, 2017 - Not flawed but to late. Two years ago a whole different story.

March 28, 2017 - An interesting wine. A mix of soft red fruits with both a savory and citrus component. Turns slightly bitter on the finish. Palate is soft and plush at this point, but stands up to tomato sauce fine. Difficult to describe, but somewhat like a blend of sangiovese, pinot noir, and gamay in one.

February 25, 2017 - Still tasting good; unique flavour profile with medium body; shared with Coleen & Paul and Mike, Pam & her mom, Pauline from Eden Prairie & WI

January 22, 2017 - Brownish garnet-magenta. Fresh strawberry, earth, and cola nose, with fast legs. Light bodied, cranberries, sour cherries, light tannins, low acid, white pepper, and a red candy finish. Thin, fruity, one dimensional; a disappointment.
