April 12, 2014 - Napa Valley Tour; 4/11/2014-4/15/2014 (French Laundry,Meadowood,Colgin,Araujo,Harlan....): Pale yellow in colour, glossy. On the nose the Viognier shines through, much like a condrieu, with light exotic notes, melon, lychee and banana.good ripe fruit. On the palate the roussanne adds the extra level, the structure and acidity that usually lacks from condrieu and gives the wine a backbone to carry the rich fruit. 14.1% Alc. Pure and beautiful wine. 93
