December 10, 2021 - Still has a ruby core and was redder than the Taylors 55 I was drinking alongside it. 9 years later and I agree with RONNIEROOTS note from 2012. This is elegance personified and a great Warre that is still drinking marvelously well. I don't see this fading anytime soon. What a pleasure.

July 4, 2021 - Below the neck and we were worried that it would be over. Decanted and drunk immediately, this was a surprising delight. Very tawny and pale but still alive and went very well with the cheese. I had a reserve bottle of something else on standby but absolutely no need. In decline but still a joy to have some thing this old still approachable.

December 7, 2013 - 3rd wine of the second flight. Very deep in color and depth. Good nose and minimal burn.

December 7, 2013 - Bricking medium dark cherry red color with ruby lights and rose meniscus; high VA, ripe fig, cream soda, cherry soda, dates, coffee notes that cleans up a bit after 1 hour in the glass; better on palate, light cherry syrup, tart raspberry, sweet coffee, raspberry jam palate with firm tannins yet; medium-plus finish

May 28, 2012 - At D+0: Very light, nutty colour. Wonderfully elegant, with a deceiving lightness, but oh so complex. Dried citrus, nutty (notably almonds), raisin, but also hints of fig and strawberry. Long, delicious finish. At D+3: Gained some weight, but more in flavour than body. Benchmark Warre elegance, showing a bit more strawberry and even some cherry notes than at D+0, but otherwise very similar. Fully mature, but I don't see it going down anytime soon. Loved and thoroughly enjoyed by all at the table.
