  February 15, 2016 - Rustic elegance. I really like the nose on this wine; notes of dried cherry, mushroom, herb, & earth; also a bit of spice. Nicely integrated on the palate. And although 7 years in the bottle now, will hold for quite a while longer.

  September 10, 2015 - Very tight at first. Decated and drank over the course of a couple hours and this opened up nicely.
  
  The fruit was very distinctly blue berry in my opinion. Blueberry with some violets and mint. Big extraction but nice structure as well. Elegant.
