October 24, 2022 - Beautiful nose with red fruit, flowers, orange peel, leather and sous bois. Very transperent and weightless with fruits that are appropriately sufficient for its age. Love these old Arnoux. 93-94

September 25, 2012 - Very aromatic with leather, red fruits, minerals on the nose. Some barnyard. Middle weight palate that matches the nose. 94 pts.

November 18, 2008 - This wine is outstanding; it has aged extremely well, and I would dare someone to pin a year on it. Initial nose of barnyard smells, rubber, with some strawberry tart, and opened up beautifully. The depth of color was absolutely amazing; a great progression of shades from brick red to very light edges. After the wine aired out the the aromas singed the nostrils, almost like that feeling of saltwater in your nose when you're out in the ocean. Great combination of the tart you only find with pinot noir and a spectacular balance of tannins and acid along with coffee and earth aromas in the last glass.

October 25, 2008 - Multidimensional nose transformed into a balanced and evolving gem throughout 3 hours as the wine opened and blossomed. Still can be held and will give pleasure for years to come. Balanced palate with earth, plum, raspberry and vanilla as well as underbrush and sage. long finish...just lovely! 94 pts
