March 27, 2024 - Rich, delcious, black cherry with cassis, chewy, plenty of tannin to soft, excellent structure, ample finish, lower acidity

January 14, 2024 - Nose is dark with charred notes. Still young

Palate is dark, tannic, youthful and still in need of a good decant or another 10 years in my cellar.

I should have decanted this longer than 30 minutes.

    Would buy again.

October 8, 2023 - Right upon opening this was singing. Lovely ripe yet fresh nose with blackcurrant fruit, more mint than green pepper, but that green hint does show again. Juicy and medium bodied on the palate with fresh acidity and medium tannins, more currant - both red and black with some dark plum. Nice finish. Maybe upgrade this to 90 from the prior 89 bottle - but this is probably its final legs - a nice bottle from not a very good vintage. In terms of weight and structure, not unlike a nice bordeaux.

September 3, 2023 - Big and powerful. Deep dark berries and decent length. Tannins present but subservient to the fruit. Held up easily through dinner after 2 hours in the decanter.

May 29, 2023 - The wine still showed amazing vigor and energy. Fruit was present and had the dark blue and red tones I love in Washington wine. I felt like I opened it too soon!

My experience much different than the other reviews, so not sure why, but it crushed our expectations.
