May 4, 2020 - Decanted for 8 hours before reaching the best taste. Rich red fruits aroma and firm tannins, long finish, perfect balance between acidity and tannin. Still taste good the day after.

February 7, 2015 - 2010 Barolo at La Festa del Barolo (Four Seasons Restaurant, NYC): Alessandro Ceretto says this vineyard is biodynamic, the wines now get long macerations, and they have cut the new oak in half. This nose has a striking perfume of red fruit and spice. Drying tannins, light elegant in the mouth. Long finish. Lacks richness at this stage, but I think it will bloom with time. The style is more traditional than it has been for a while at this estate. 92-94 points.

August 16, 2014 - Impromptu dinner at home: Decanted around 6 hours. Dried herbs and cherry aromas lift out of a pale coloured wine. It smells attractive. The palate is finely tuned and if anything carries a little oak touch. It's firm, a little crunchy even. Tea-like tannins, raspberry and cherry. Lovely with food though.
Better on the 2nd and 3rd days.
