  February 9, 2020 - Fully integrated with luscious secondary and tertiary flavors. Might be the best aged Margerum Syrah we’ve ever had. Very little sediment or appearance of aging. Bright purple with a nose of Asian spices, sandlewood and black plums with lovely spices charcoal and herbs on the palate, followed by an elegant, long finish. Purchased from the winemaker at the winery years ago. And, interestingly, the label reflected that this was bottle #2280 out of 2280 bottled. Wish I’d have purchased the other 10 that preceded it. Outstanding.

  May 22, 2018 - Drinking so well, but plenty of time left. Bottomless red fruit, touch of chocolate, smooth tannins. Well integrated, so smooth. Delicious. Glad I bought a lot!

  October 22, 2014 - Enormous and fully rich. Deep black fruit, heavy body, light oak touch. Medium acid, earth, just tons of dark fruit. An impressive 14.1% ABV. Nicely turned monster.
