  October 4, 2018 - First bottle in a couple of years, the previous description stands although it seems to have been a generally more appealing wine. Enjoyed by all with stirfry beef and rice.

  October 21, 2015 - Deep garnet towards violet. Wild nose of dirt, raw beef, and wet mushrooms, with a hint of very dark berry. The palate follows in kind, just the barest fresh fruit with cement, tart edges, and an unusual vinous savoriness. The finish is slightly more familiar, very low tannins balanced by bramble and significant but pleasant acids. Distinctly a food-oriented wine.

  December 22, 2013 - let breath in glass for 15 minutes. Earthy, tart tannins, slightly bitter at this point in it time: reminded me of a Beaujoulais Noveau. I will let remaining bottles lay for another 1-2+ years before opening.
  Supposedly the original strain of Gamay (Gamay Bouze).
