April 29, 2024 - Probably at peak now - powerful fruit, expressive nose with classic smoked, olive, coffee and some tertiary earthy notes. All in a very elegant package.

April 6, 2024 - Lovely Old World syrah. Drink now, as there are some tasty tertiary notes - tobacco, earth, cedar - but not much fruit left. It's surprisingly elegant and lightweight for a syrah, smooth tannins, medium body nice balanced acidity.

January 7, 2024 - Drink now. dunkles kirschrot. sehr rauchig & fleischig. gaumen ist aber erstaunlich filigran für einen hermitage. lakritz, würzig, leicht bitterer abgang. gerbstoffe sind kaum (noch) vorhanden.

Need fair a bit of air. Decanted 2 hr and wasn’t enough. The wine in the first glass (which got heaps of oxigen) was already showing pleasant notes. After 1h+.licorice, cardamom, anise and quite intense barnyard, someone called it Brett, I wouldn’t buy it but neither wait to drink if I have a bottle.
