  February 21, 2019 - Pizza Night: Dodging Snow Storms (Craig & Nita's Place): Very pale strawberry color. Small pour over 30 minutes. Lots of spiciness, woody, red berries, a fair bit of alcohol. 87 to 88pts.

  November 11, 2016 - Slightly darker than rose in color. Flavors are best when slightly cool. When room temp, the wine has a somewhat bitter finish.

  May 1, 2016 - Looks like a rose. Has a big acid punch and pretty complex flavors and aromas. This went really well with venison burgers topped with green garlic/ramp purée. Goes down easy but has some funk.

  February 28, 2016 - Better than in November 2014, excess acidity has somehow resolved. Easy drinking wine, paired with cheese because we wanted the food to prevail over the wine - so nice combination with this arbois

  August 26, 2015 - Pale ruby. Initial Pop and pour - pretty strawberry/pomegranate aromas with palate that follows. After Decanted 1.5h, A: Delicate strawberry, red cherry, pomegranate, herbs, eucalyptus. P: Elegant seamless strawberries, red cherries, earth, minerals with light tannin on the midpalate. F: Slightly bitter herbs w crushed strawberries. Elegant, beautiful. Not profound but still very enjoyable.
