June 1, 2022 - Impressive fruit and spice components; especially given the age (24 years) and a tremendous value (not expensive $50, but good luck finding it). My wino friends were very impressed by the very deep integrated flavors from Cab Sauv, Cab Franc, Merlot & Syrah. Often under-rated and casually dismissed, this Alexis merits greater attention and respect.

February 22, 2021 - Liked it, big and full. A tasty red blend that went well with steak on the grill. Nothing stood out, just an enjoyable drinker.

April 3, 2010 - Opened from a mag bought from winery this winter. Ruby colored no real bricking noted. Nice dark fruit upfront.. some wood and earth as well. Nice dark fruit profile, more elegant than muscular in its weight. Some nice mid palate secondaries, a bit of earth but mild, good finish with some grip left in it. Held up well with brisket and rest of the Passover meal. Great qpr!

December 7, 2008 - After reading the WS tasting note and the other notes on CT, I had low expectations on opening my single bottle. I shouldn't have. This wine is outstanding. Rich, full-bodied wine. Tastes of berries; hint of leather. Long finish. Wow. I'm now bummed I didn't have more to enjoy.
