  August 28, 2008 - Much better than bottle one, no apparent brett in nose or when tasted. Nose of prunes and raisins with some chocolate and cherries. The flavors are pretty straight forward, a little dark berry fruit, mild tannin and decent acidity.

  June 7, 2008 - Thin, fair dose of bretty horse shite without much finish. Drink up. I have had this in a another vintage and vaguely remember it being better. Even the funky bottles non-reserve was as good as this. I think it is nearly done so recommend a 1 year drinking window, all you Sammites.
  
  PS - Mas is from Les Baux de Provence a small town/area located in the French province of Provence in the south of France, below the Rhone region. Beautiful town, I have been there. There is no relation to Bordeaux and the wine is not even the same grapes typically used in Bordeaux. This is most likely grenache with syrah and mourvedre mixed in (my guess). Plitton also suggests cab, which is possible but would be somewhat unusual for the area.

  August 27, 2007 - What a great Bordeaux for $20. Deep flavors, not too earthy, still some strong tannins that need a little time to mellow. I decanted it at noon, and sipped it all day. Great.
