November 15, 2021 - Beautiful bouquet of purple flowers, fruits, berries, and root vegetables. Juicy and expansive. Seemingly a little to extracted. Stronger bouquet, attack, and middle, than back and finish. Delicious!

November 6, 2021 - The Nearly Annual Lyon 10 Year Retro Tasting (Lyon's Den): Wow! Winner of the best QPR of this blind tasting! Long, deep, and "sweet" (glycerin) with blackberry, stone, mocha, and herby/flower notes. 94 on day 2. Now-2030

August 29, 2021 - Nice wine in its prime. Round tannins - still fresh with fruit.

February 22, 2021 - Cf. the CellarTracker Article link [lower lft] to get specific info for this vintage, including acclaim.
≈45 min decant into a plastic, cylindrical pitcher which was then capped; LOTS of sediment noted; Private Preserve after Day 1
N: Fairly fragrant berries, an earthiness, with an attractive herbal/pyrazine type of component coming forward
P: LM body; NICE, almost swtish frt met by an astringent pucker which stays within hailing distance of the init frt as it seamlessly evolves into a quite LONG, beautifully balanced finish with a tangy swtness to the FEW, very, VERY fine tannins. Went reasonably well with the night's Grn Bean Stew/Sausage/Beef [HmMd], better with the Empanadas (Goya) side.
// Day 2: ≈aromas, < intense, with an added coffee/dk choc component; P has lost some frt, this being > problematic alone than with the night's Smkd BBQ Pulled Pk Butt, with which it went well.
// ∑: 14.5% ABV; My EXC (92,93/100 using that metric), & I'd entertain an argument for EXC+ for QPR *if* obtained for < $20. While I suspect this will hold into '23, I'd NOT expect further improvement.1 person found this helpful Comment -

February 20, 2021 - Encore fermé...fruits noirs et encre. Les tannins sont encore bien présent malgré avoir été mis en carafe près de 2 heures. Corsé et dense, charnu et ample...umami. Très longue finale sur le fruit noir. Solide ! Donné lui encore 3-5 ans. 91+
