October 30, 2021 - Garagiste selection. 12% Abv
Color: light brick red to brown
Nose: light intensity. Some early bottle stink. Cherry with distinctive berry aromas, especially raspberries.
Body/flavor: light to thin body. Some dried berry flavors. Still tannic but soft acids
Aftertaste: dusty!
This bottle really seems beyond its peak. -

May 7, 2021 - I was a little worried that I waited too long on this bottle, but I was pleasantly surprised. The wine is very cloudy and the color is definitely starting to show age - but the cranberry and raspberry bright red fruit profile is still very much alive. There's a hint of earthiness for interest as well.

May 22, 2020 - Consistent with notes from last bottle opened in February 2018. High toned berry fruit once the barnyard funk blows off (15-30 mins, not bad). I have one more bottle left and will drink it within the year as I don't see much further ageing potential here.

July 16, 2018 - ok, that's the ticket. this is much better than the btl i had a few years ago. might be btl variation or might be age, but this is much truer to Jura character and much more of what I have come to expect from the region. Gorgeous pale red, berry and floral nose, floral notes, high toned acid and very quaffable. Great summer salumi and cheese wine. Love the purity here.

February 9, 2018 - Still solid and drinking very nicely. This wine as actually lighter than earlier reviews would have led me to expect. It had a nice fruity berry frontal attack but was then surprisingly watery from the mid-palate back. Easy to drink, "quaffable" in fact, acid/fruit balance just right. Perhaps other reviewers should try another bottle with more age on it. I have three more and will drink them over the next couple of years. 88+
I agree with neurowine1 - not a lot of sense of place but still enjoyable in its own right.
