January 11, 2014 - The best non-champagne sparkling I had in long time. Forward, fruit-driven nose with some bread, lime juice and pears. On the palate it has all the Components for a standard champagne: good fruit, with crispy/fizzy acid on the mid-stage. Nice length, but I miss the pleasent minerals in the end which I find in most champagnes. This is a serious sparkling wine producer (when I have this bottle in mind). Due to the well intergrated minerals and fruit in champagnes, I don't Think the new Worlds sparkling wines will ever compete with the champagnes. Still, this one had half the price of the regular champagnes. In fact, I would rather drink this than a bottle of moet de chandon. This is a wine worth looking for.
