    November 11, 2023 - Quick Notes Series
Quite floral with pretty red fruits. The Murgers is more Vosne than it is Nuits Saint Georges, the level of elegance from a top maker is certain present in the wine and despite this can last for at least 10-15 years more it is not too harsh to consume now (but if storage and patience allows of course it's better to wait for a couple more years before drinking). This wine certainly is worth revisiting sometime.

May 5, 2023 - Medium bodied with a lot of floral intensity from the nose from first pour.
Silky smooth yet it has more than a bit of a structure to it. A little hint of earthy/ rusty note. The wine consists of a moderate amount of tannic that provides a very long and savoury finish

March 11, 2023 - JB and SH for dinner: Earthy, black fruits, florals. Medium bodied. Complexities just starting to show. Savory flavours enhance the mineral streak. So nicely balanced. Intense and perfumed, but harmonious and long. A touch rustic and then totally silky. Delicious tonight.

    December 3, 2020 - Deep ruby colour.
More dark than red berry. Gorgeous dark spice, zesty, ripe, earthy, great acidity and tannins. Plenty of youthful structure. Years ahead, delicious.

November 1, 2020 - Fruit forward, dense and complex. Showing violets, spices, herbs and animal on the nose and palate. It stands clearly above the 2012 Cecile Tremblay, Meo, and Hudelot Noellat Murgers when they are all served blind. Drinking well already.
