July 16, 2021 - Firstly let me declare that I am big fan of Valli wines. I try to leave them in the cellar for ten years. These two didnt quite make it. They have years of cellering in them yet. It is beautiful intergrated and balanced wine. Smooth and masculine. Dark beries, cherries on the palate with a hint of a fine Cuban cigar on the nose. Enjoy one now and keep the rest for later.

January 28, 2018 - Very nice and perfectly balanced! Won’t hurt with another year or two in the cellar, but no doubt very good now as well.

August 28, 2015 - Perfumed and expressive nose of red fruits, some aniseed and spice. The palate is dry, multi-layered, medium plus acid, medium tannin, medium alcohol. A harmonious, beautifully integrated Pinot Noir that is drinking lovely now but which will only get better in 2-5 more years.

November 30, 2014 - Inviting nose of red berries, spice, beetroot and earth. Plush and velvety in the mouth with lovely fruit tempered by the wine's savoury elements. Good poise, balance and length of flavour.

October 6, 2014 - Pinot-palooza (Carriageworks, Redfern): Aromas of compote red cherry; quite concentrated, slight cream and vanilla notes, sweet spice. In the mouth the wine is juicy, red berry and cherry flavours, cream, slight vanilla, plentiful tannins. Hmm
