July 23, 2022 - Coravin fun - Burgundy selection, Talbot bracket and supper wine (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Ooh...stalky, red and blackberry, a smidge of slightly unripe bramble, earthy, Autumn leaves, leather...nicest this has smelled. The ashiness from the stalks translates to the quite linear palate, that slightly unripeness is here as well, tannins are drying but finely tooled. Hmm.

May 21, 2021 - Coravin fun - Burgundy & Bordeaux (KC's place): From Coravin. Ooh, tinned peas, dusty and earthy, a herbaceous element that translates into stalky notes with a saline underpin with time. There is some red fruit here as well on the nose. Still very stalky on the palate with grippy, grainy tannins, fruit is very hidden but red hued, softly yielding. This is probably the best tasting I've had of this wine.

October 5, 2019 - Burgundy "Masterclass" - Day 1 (Sydney, New South Wales, Australia): [From Coravin] The well-defined aromas and flavours have a medium(+) intensity. There are notes of bottle-age (tobacco, wet leaves, wet earth), stem/whole-bunch character (ash), mineral (saline), oak (cloves, subtle vanilla), and red fruit (red cherry). The finish has a medium(+) length. Medium acidity, great balance, very enjoyable.

October 5, 2019 - From Coravin. Hullo whole bunch and good oak! Ashy cherry and Brett, strawberry with a touch of spice and an inherent Autumn breeze freshness. the palate is the same ashy fruit with juicy acid lending freshness and some slightly astringent drying tannins on the long finish. Far better than the last time I had this.

December 27, 2018 - Coravin fun with Mats and Fredrik part one (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Stalks! Ash and pencil shavings, red berries and currants over a little cream, herbs and spice. Juicy, stalky, slightly sharp red fruits, a little gritty tannic burr. Long finish though. Hmm.
