Community Tasting Notes 1

  • Der Weingelehrte Likes this wine: 89 points

September 30, 2014 - Nice wine, definitely a good value.

Wine is clear and star-bright. Medium straw in color, flecks of silver on rim. Wine is dry; viscosity is med (-), bordering on med; acidity is med (+,+); alcohol is med (-); finish is med to med (+). Complexity is med to borderline med (-).

Minerality, wet asphalt, pear and rubber on the nose. And slight floral hint...

On the palate: acidity and minerality are principal components. Wet asphalt and rubber characteristics on the attack. Subdued, under-ripe pear supports. Acidity lingers on protracted finish.
