July 28, 2022 - In a good place. Last one I tried was five years ago. Would suggest 30-60 minutes of air before drinking. Good balanced acidity.

May 1, 2020 - 1/12. Very dark and dense, vibrant ruby held to the light, more cherry red when not backlit. Dark fruited nose. A good whiff of reduction too. Needs coaxes in the glass where it reveals a dense cherry-led fruit. This is a full, glossy and dense Chambolle with plenty of substance for village level. After 24hrs in ETO and fridge this is very smooth and glossy. Dark fruited, reasonable depth though no more complexity than one would expect. Very drinkable. ***1/2

June 19, 2019 - Delightful, remarkably balanced Chambolle-Musigny. Nose: delicate with earthy notes at first, followed by black cherries. Palate: balanced - high acidity counterbalancing red fruits. Velvety medium + finish.
