April 20, 2024 - Unbelievable! I wish I had more. Single bottle had at a tasting at The Henri. Paired with duck confit. In the drinking window, elegant but with enough power to carry the dish.

January 2, 2024 - Good. Spicy. Both indicative of Meo and Vosne. Not especially complex or detailed but completely enjoyable. Quite a showy nose. Decent value here, would buy and drink again. 92+

September 17, 2023 - 2012 seems like a problem vintage: just not enough fruit . But enjoyable with Japanese kenmedai fish, okra , sweet potato, rice (fish simmered in sake and soy sauce).

December 6, 2022 - Salon Focofi Paris walkabout and dinner, so no detailed tasting notes. Young and still some tannins to work through. Best after 2026

    June 2, 2022 - Nose:
    - no decanting
    - Still a little closed, clear and precise. Has a nice red fruit that is marked by strawberries, slightly sweetened, raspberries, cranberries and also some dark fruit (especially plums), plus cedar wood worked in filigree, but clearly in the background. Horny fresh style, with time earthy flavours, grass, blood oranges, as well as a handful of nuts show up. This should be characteristic, at least it reminds me of other Meo Camuzet.
    - Opens up after 30 minutes in the glass, decanting is recommended.

    Palate:
    - Medium intensity and nice throughout with medium body and present acidity. A little too little tannins (medium -), which would give more backbone. Clear and very long finish.
    - This wine is characterised by fruit that is picked to the point and comes across in a nice ripe but not too ripe way. Also these specific aromas of blood orange, earth, grass and nuts dancing in the background.
    - Still has plenty of potential for further ageing and bottle development.
    - 93-94 points
