January 4, 2020 - Tight, mineral and smoke nose with deeply toasted almond, meyer lemon, oyster shell, cherry and subtle herbs (thyme?). The entry is bright and fresh leading to a medium-bodied mid with sweet cherry combined with bitter pit fruit skin. The medium-length finish is almost a bit salty. This may improve with time in the bottle, maybe 2 years. Nice now and perhaps suited to pair with brie or triple cream to mellow the finish.
