    March 10, 2013 - The wine was interesting in a good way. There were still some tannins left, though I don't think it would necessarily improve further. It was quite smooth and earthy. I think it may have been a little past it's prime, as most of the remaining aromas were delicate and difficult to pull up. There was certainly some faint leather and tobacco, a bit of very dried currants (almost like what I would guess currants would task like if they aged and turned to chalk).
