Community Tasting Notes 2

February 11, 2015 - Monthly Tasting Group HWS #096; Small French AOC's (By RG): Special bouquet with a lot of minerals combined with honey and some candy flavors. On the palate also a lot of minerals like limestone etc. Firm amount of fresh lime and lemon acidity. This in combination with a slightly oxidized style gives a special and not unpleasant experience. 88+

January 28, 2014 - Millesime Bio Fair - Day 2 (Montpellier, France): A blissful and unique Chardonnay. A special selection from limestone and blue marl soils, it smells like dried apricot, clover honey, lemon verbena and crushed rocks. Rich texture but terrific acid and a pure stream of minerals throughout. Yellow apple and green pear fruit are matched with minerals, sage, lemon pepper and mountain stream notes. Such minerality and elegance. Love this stuff.
