July 23, 2016 - I have to agree with Vintage1961, this is tasting 'thin'. Two summers ago when we did their food and wine pairing, this wine was special ... now, not so much. Very muted fruit (and I can't tell you what they might be) and the acidity was in evidence. Still looks great in the glass ... to brown whatsoever. Just ... disappointing.

January 20, 2015 - Dark chocolate/cocoa/eucalyptus/black cherry and cedar on the nose. Big, chewy tannins like cherry roll-up. Flavors of Black Forest cake/macerated cherries and brownies. Needs to age more to be all it can be.
