October 19, 2013 - Cassis, chocolate, red berries and a hint of smoke. Quite elegant, nicely integrated and a dry finish.

November 23, 2012 - Boekenhoutskloof Winemakers dinner. (@ Bottles; Sas van Gent, Netherlands): Beautiful bouquet with a lot of berry fruits. Tasting the 2003, 2004 and 2005 beside each other, this 2003 has the most dark and concentrated berry fruits, good acidity, soft tannin and some good bitterness.

May 23, 2008 - Soft and sweet bouquet with pleasant oak and cassis. In the mouth a sweet start, rosehips, cherries and elegant oak. Soft tannin. A new world Bdx-style of wine, but definitely a good one.
