December 23, 2014 - Pours light gold. Nose of lemons, green apple, a little petrol, wet stone. Palate is bright lemony citrus, green apple, with the subtlest underpinnings of some creamy almond, and then a spike of acid in the medium length finish. High alcohol for a white, but not overpowering. Hard to figure out this wine; seems like a bunch of things that should not go together - but they are all there, and somehow it is nicely integrated and balanced. A great wine for the price; very nice with food
