Community Tasting Notes 1

April 5, 2003 - This Bordeaux blend is 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc. It was consumed at Candelas Restaurant in San Diego, ordered from the wine list. Bright disc. Although the light was somewhat dim. the robe appeared to be deep ruby and the rim was red. Clean nose, showing moderately intense red cherry, currants, cassis, plum and scorched earth. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, with ample sweet tannins and relatively good structure. Medium, smooth finish. Quite nice and a good accompaniment to the Latin cuisine.
