June 4, 2021 - Amber color. Intense aromas of dried apricot, quince, candied lemon peel, raisins, honey. Very high viscosity. Wine is dense, very intense. Sweetness is balanced with acidity. Very, very long. Superb!

April 1, 2017 - Apricot, pineapple, honey, and spice - lively and deep. Really lingers when tasted.

December 24, 2014 - This is a masterpiece right from the appearance - colour like liquid gold, shiny and glowing. In the nose beautiful botrytis melted in sweet summer honey and pine resin. Spicy sweetness is beautifully balanced by penetrating acidity, very juicy and sappy. Great volume, deep structure, hitting every spot of the tongue. Very long finish. Beautiful and seductive.

October 16, 2014 - 2014 New York Wine Experience Trip; 10/14/2014-10/21/2014 (New York City, NY): A blend of Welschriesling, Chardonnay and Traminer, this golden/rust-colored sweet wine delivers all the goods. Highly aromatic and lusciously flavorful, it is packed with peaches, honey, hazelnuts, apricots, white flowers and vanilla. Fresh acidity nicely balances the wine's substantial sweetness, and this harmony persists all the way through to a finish which seems to last forever. Classic in quality and extremely hedonistic, this is a wine which will provide enjoyment for decades to come. Drink now-2045.
