  April 10, 2016 - When first out one of six bottles I bought was very nice, had side by side with 01 Guenoc PS, less licorice but lots of good flavors; last of 6 was April 2016, 12 year old $8 wine, decanted clear, dust and crust in bottle, still good deep dark fruit, subtle vanilla menthol notes, still a touch of tannins, decent structure in mouth, a bit tart on finish but overall semi-balanced, solid 86 for the $8 wine, decent wine and surprisingly good for price

  July 19, 2010 - This was a dubious end to the night--not that I had high expectations. But after 3 nice bottles of wine, the syrupy nature of this almost nauseated me.
