November 27, 2016 - Deep color. The nose shows aromas of dark black berries, oak, herbs, pepper and a hint of cedar. This is medium full bodied on the palate with very good concentration and fairly good class. The long finish features ripe tannins. Somewhat soft already.

October 18, 2016 - Honeymoon in the Finger Lakes; 10/17/2016-10/20/2016 (FLX, New York, USA): Tasted at the winery. Pours dark purple like a young GSM or Shiraz. Nice, complex assemblage of primary red and black fruits with secondary vanilla and tea flavors. Fine but very thickly layered tannins and medium(+) acid give this a firm but imminently approachable structure. Could be quite interesting in 5-10 years, but it strikes us as overhyped and overpriced at USD$60. "Very good," 88/100.

October 8, 2016 - Good acidity and balance. Fruit is forward and dark. Deep purple color. Just a baby. I will look forward to drinking the case over the next twelve years or so.
