March 8, 2024 - DRC Montrachet Vertical: More linear than the others. Very fresh, but I didn't feel like it had as much depth, but others disagreed. It did continue to gain depth with more air.

March 8, 2024 - I’ve always loved the 2011 and tonight was no exception. Great bottle.

July 16, 2023 - 01486/3178, next to 11 LT. Much more advanced than a perfect bottle three years ago, and this is off a list of perfect provenance… sometimes premox is the problem with this wine. Nose is clean with tropical fruit, apricot, pineapple, light sesame, quite opulent as always. Palate shows acidity uncharacteristic of the vintage, still quite a mouthful in structure and details, but just not where it should be. I’d say at least two to three points off its full potential. 94

September 19, 2022 - opened for a couple of hours and decanted 30 minutes before tasting. just wow. a tour de force. I have never drunk a wine that is combining this level power while being weightless at the same time. my experience tonight is very in line with the previous tasting note. speechless.

November 2, 2021 - Clean cut and fresh. A great example of this wine in not necessarily a leaner sort of way, but a defined, high tension, higher acid, less ripe and no botrytis sort of way. Obviously still opulent and amazingly rich in the way that only Monty can deliver, but a very clean and precise iteration. Weightless and effortlessly delicious. Thank you to the most generous collector of all time for continuing to share these absolute gems. 96 - 97.
