September 5, 2022 - Looking at my last note on this, it was pretty spot on. It is fading now but still a lovely blend. Lots of tannin with the cabernet showing secondary notes but slightly dimmed, or washed out. I got stuck into it about an hour after opening but did not really improve after that, just held. Drink up.

August 22, 2019 - Colour deep ruby slight browning on the edges 14/15
Nose med intensity plums and florals violet , developed aromas forest floor , mushrooms good complexity 27/30
Palate med to full bodied developed flavours , lost all its freshness from yesterday ,quite tannic and drying on the finish 39/44
Overall bottle has been opened for 24 hours and has not held up , surprising, really thought it would have opened up 7/11

July 20, 2018 - delicious wine that feels a bit more rustic than the 2011 or 2014 releases. Perhaps a little more oak and slightly less integration, but great flavour and good length. Quite herbal on the nose but savoury too. The fruit is muted. On the palate it's also quite savoury with fine tannins on the finish.

April 23, 2017 - Very nice wine, tasted after the 2011 which showed this appeared more than just one year older and I think probably an earlier drinking wine. The 2011 was about 95-96 for me and sitting really pretty. This is very good also but probably closer to 93. Great value wine.

April 2, 2017 - Delivering on that early promise. Good acidity, plums, gum leaf, chalky tannin, long finish.
