Community Tasting Notes 1

May 4, 2014 - Bold, ripe and dense aromas of blackberry, plum and brambly rose bush layered with notes of star anise, and a streak of earth and cocoa.
The palate is big with fruit and earth. Notes of earth, dark berries, dry aged meat, road tar, wood, black plum skins, licorice and cinnamon stick. The juicy acidity matches the plush tannins at a moderate/moderate+ level. Needs time
