May 4, 2017 - Still drinking nicely but I'd say time to drink up soon. More black currant now with impregnated leather in the nose. Really fruit-driven nose. Palate a bit more muted than last time. But still round, velvety and well balanced fruit vs. oak vs. acidity. Tannins still susceptible. Still remarkable quality for the price.

September 16, 2016 - Still deep ruby red, intense nose of dark fruits (not too much black currant though), sweet roast notes and a touch vanilla oak. Also sweet spice. On the palate similar flavors with well integrated oak. Full body, medium(+) intense and quite enough acidity too keep it fresh enough. Really smooth tannins. Although made like a Bordeaux I'd rather place that further south. Powerful, intense, velvety and lush. A rather heavy crowd pleaser.
