October 15, 2023 - Acid stands out, tannin integrated. Great nose, palate is lacking some umpf. Maybe more fun later on?

March 19, 2023 - Aromatic herbaceous and blueberries nose with undergrowth, licorice and clove. Fresh palate, dried oregano and blackcurrant notes. Medium to full-bodied mid-palate. Nice balance with just a touch of drying tannins to provide the structure. Finish is somewhat short. At its peak and should drink up soon.

February 10, 2023 - Dark ruby. Elegant fruit-floral bouquet. Black cherry, Sweet prune, dried flower potpourri, summer field, barnyard, leather, hint of licorice. Delicate floral and layered wine. Soft tannins, good acidity and structure. Medium bodied, lingering finish.

April 25, 2021 - Nose is really good. Palate a tad geen and quite some tannin left. Let this sleep longer. Maybe even past 2025.

  • Toasty Oak Likes this wine:

January 15, 2021 - Initially, the wine was tight and unyielding. It took about 3 hours in the decanter for the wine to soften and open up. Then I coaxed out aromas of ripe red cherries and warm plum compote with an underlying damp earth. The palate is quite tart at first with dusty tannins. The wine is lean with a short to moderate finish of cherry candy, iodine and green herbs.
