March 27, 2024 - Intense dark fruit aroma, a bit tight on opening but came into its own after about 20 min. Fine tannins, excellent balance with fruit and acidity. Rich and smooth with a lush mouthfeel and pleasant medium finish. Excellent wine drinking beautifully now. Drink or hold for a few more years.

July 29, 2017 - Inviting aromas of dark fruit, blueberry tart, potpourri, and sweet oak. Full bodied, brooding, voluptuously textured, and sweet, ripe tannin fill the mouth. The oak is nicely integrated, with ample black fruit and middle spice not unlike a Syrah. Crushed rock minerality turns soft as a pillow after a few glasses. Nicely made.

July 22, 2016 - Great Alexander Valley Cabernet. Really stands out on the palate with a medium to long finish.
