Community Tasting Notes 4

March 23, 2024 - Light honey gold in color, I get some light savory notes on the nose, just a hint of petrol, a touch of crushed fruit; fairly rich, though more controlled than expected from a 2012, with good intensity, but also decent tension as well, and lovely light complexity. The warmer vintage character comes through, but this wine carries it well. Finishes a touch on the softer side. Probably right in the zone for ideal drinking, but should endure for many years to come.
