Community Tasting Notes 5

September 26, 2014 - Côtes de Provence AOP. 40% Grenache, 30% Cinsault, 20% Syrah, and 10% Tibouren. To my knowledge, my first time tasting a wine with Tibouren. I am not familiar with it. Appears to be only a blending grape. The nose is bright and fresh, mild and breezy. The taste is not as good, but still somewhat good. The finish is longish and oddish, but in a normal sort of way. Pretty good value. I wouldn't buy a bottle but I might taste again. Overall value: 2.5 stars of 5. Low good (82.5).

August 18, 2014 - Good and balanced on the palate with subtle fruit, but an acidic bite that lasts on the finish.

June 12, 2014 - Very solid and fresh rosé. Cherries, white peach, tangerine, bitter orange. Very nice.

June 10, 2014 - Aroma: reticent aromas of strawberries, nectarines and wood shavings.
Palate: nicely balanced flavors of nectarines, spice and strawberry. Some mineral notes. Pleasantly complex.

June 7, 2014 - Light peach colour. Peach and apricots on the nose. Taste of peach and apricots. Great summer wine.
