January 10, 2020 - Another intriguing White Bordeaux.
On nose:tart grapefruit, notes of dry , oak infused vanilla and faint floral notes of spicy tiger lily.
On palate:a follow through of the above flavour notes, in addition to a complex array of basil, tarragon ,notes of Mandarin orange , with bracing stony minerals on a solid medium body.....great food wine....a blend of 80 % Sauv Blanc and 20 % old vine Semillon.....can age well ....2013 White Bordeaux are turning out at 7 years of age to be real winners....including Ch.de Fieuzal and of course Domaine de Chevalier.....shellfish anyone?

January 3, 2020 - Evolved golden appearance. More color than would be expected at age 6 (or so).

Pronounced and evolved aromas of baked peach, lemon pie, cardamom, baking spice and honey.

Medium plus in body with only medium acidity. Delicious and mouth filling palate with similar flavor characteristics.

The nose and the palate seem dominated by the Semillon although not sure what the blend is.

    Medium plus on the finish.

Delicious and well made, but the evolution (nose, color and below average acidity) suggests drinking in next couple of years.

March 31, 2019 - First bottle tried of a 1/2 case purchased on release.

Lovely color that is already trending to gold.

Pronounced and evolving aromas of honeyed citrus , peach, green apple and some mineral/spice elements.

Plenty of weight on the palate(medium + body) with lots of similar flavor characteristics and plenty of acidity. Medium finish.

Overall this is a great bottle. A bit more evolved than expected but there is enough extract and acidity to suggest that this can age another decade in a cold cellar.

June 18, 2016 - The wine looks blonde colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like mineral, peach and pear. It tastes like lemon, mineral, peach and lychee. The body is light/medium. The wine has bright texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

May 25, 2016 - Tasting Bordeaux 13-12-11-10 in Hong Kong (Visiting Vinexpo 2016, I finally tasted Bordeaux 2013s from bottle, plus earlier vintages): Has an almost tender aspect on the palate, has brightness too, a bit of bon bon anglais (candied aspects), with a smart and sassy overall appeal.
