December 4, 2015 - Clear, deep intensity, ruby color.
Youthful nose with a medium intensity. Aromas of cassis, plum sauce, mint, oak, vanilla, fudge and green bell pepper. Hints of cedar wood and cigar. Very heavy on the fruit but manages to remain the Cabernet-character.
Full bodied with a medium acidity and medium(+) tannins. Medium intensity with huge amounts of ripe, black fruit. Some oak, sweet spice and green bell pepper is also coming through. The finish is medium with a distinc minty note.
Decent Cabernet that maybe lacks the depth and power for a classic Napa but consider the price (€20) I think this delivers the characteristics you usually find in better Napa Cabs. I can see this gain some depth and complexity with ageing. -

April 14, 2015 - The oak takes over for me. the aftertaste of vanilla is pleasant but would like less oak or at least more integrated. Otherwise a relatively balanced wine, but had higher hopes. Perhaps a bit too optimistic. It lacks body that could've carried the oak a little better.
