  March 29, 2018 - Opened this maturing wine to a whiff of smoke followed by a persistent aroma of white flowers. Clear gold in the glass, presenting flavors of crushed rocks, apricot, green apple, pear and peach. A slight lemon tartness hangs in the background through the finish but is not a distraction. Big, bold mouthfeel with an oily texture that coats the mouth all the way down thru the finish. A well made wine that is ready to drink.

  September 15, 2017 - Soft, creamy, more approachable this young than other vintages. Paired nicely with broiled sole and mixed vegetables. Technical score: 91. Enjoyment score: 91.

  June 24, 2017 - Intense vanilla and woody aromas. Strong wood influence. Solid structure and acidity in place, maybe in an awkward phase as the oak dominated the nose and palate. I plan on revising in a year.

  May 15, 2016 - A very harmonious Chardonnay with balanced richness, minerality and acidity. Wonderful favors of lemon, honey, clarified butter and a trace of cedar on the finish.
